"Chef" Julie Ann Brennan hosted the first Cooking Demonstration at the Mountain Park at Dahlonega Community Clubhouse on Thursday, June 5.

The menu consisted of chicken and potatoes with caper sauce, "fruity" salad, "Julie's Toasties" with olive tapanade, and vanilla ice cream with Chet's Peanut Butter Sauce for dessert.

Of course, no Silver Summit event would be complete without an ample serving of Friends & Neighbors - and plenty attended this delicious demonstration!

The Community Clubhouse has been the scene of numerous social events. The Cooking Demonstration was the first of many classes offered at the community.

The next "class" will be a "Retirement Round Table" - a small group discussion about topics requested by the audience, with lunch provided - on Saturday, June 28. For more information or to RSVP (required), please call 706-864-0472.
